How BRT Can Help You as Clergy:

As a congregational leader for over 21 years, The Reverend Brian Parker recognizes the special needs, concerns and pressures experienced by clergy. He is particularly familiar with the practices of the Anglican Church and with the Diocese of Toronto, and indeed knows a large number of the clergy of the diocese and beyond. He is uniquely qualified, and approved by Episcopal oversight, to offer special assistance to you. Brian has led services, and spoken, in a variety of other denominations as well.
In addition to the items found in the section regarding helping the congregation, Brian is also available for:
- Educational Assistance to clergy and clergy groups.
- Weekend Workshops and Mini-courses.
- Discussion through larger venues and groups
such as Deaneries, Presbytries, Councils or Areas.
These situations also expand beyond the Anglican 'realm' to all denominations open to such a ministry.
Brian can also offer Practical Assistance within the Anglican Tradition to meet your special needs:
- to cover for Holiday Time, Sick Leaves, and Special Needs.
- to cover for Emergency situations.
- to do "Pulpit Cover".
These situations would include the use of accepted liturgy and the usual lectionary based themes of the "Proclamation of the Word". It is suggested that the clergy person involved contact the Diocesesan Office to make arrangements.
Brian can also offer informal Pastoral Support to those in need if you, as regular pastor, are not available.
